One of the mantras that I try to live my life by: ‘Live life to the fullest.’’
I also like the scripture that says ‘God has given us all things freely to enjoy.‘ I am a firm believer of the fact that life must be enjoyed to the full.
Are you living life are you existing? This question must be something that we must consistently ask ourselves in our journey through life. Are you existing or are you just living your best life yet?
It is your responsibility to create the life that you were born to live.
Life is not just going to hand you apples on a platter of gold. It is your responsibility to discover what life you were created to live and work with God to live this life out. The challenge though is that most of us don’t know what life we are meant to be living yet. We just take each day as it comes without taking time to dream and live life to the fullest.
Have you ever asked yourself what life of life you would live if you had no inhibitions? What type of life would you live if you never had to think about money? What would your life look like if you could be anything that you could be?
My life has taken a different turn since I decided to dream again. I remember when I just had kids and it seemed like my life had halted for a while. I knew there was more but I didn’t know how to get there. It occurred to me that I had some stopped dreaming. I had accepted what life had given me and failed to realize that I could be more and I could ask for me and life could give me more if I dared to dream.
So, I began to do just that. I took a break, got out my journal and allowed myself dream. I picked up the dreams that I had left behind. New dreams began to flow in and I started smiling again. I raised my head again. I felt like I had a new lease of life and then I began to run. The zest of life that I had released in life gave me the wind we needed to run. That door opened the new wave of living life fully. I made up my mind not just to exist but to live.
Are you living fully? Do you have dreams that you want to achieve? Are you enjoying everyday life?
